Rules
Hours
- Regular work hours are considered M-F, 9am to 6pm. During this time we ask that members be respectful of noise and not conduct group meetings without prior confirmation with space organizers (Michael, Alex, or Nic).
- Members may access the space 24/7. We request that if you use the space at night you are diligent about locking up.
Security
- There is a security camera that faces the door
- Keys are secured in a lockbox that hangs near the door. The code is changed regularly.
- The first person to arrive in the mornings should unlock the space and return the keys to the lockbox
- The last person to leave at night should close & latch the door (which will automatically lock)
Internet usage
- There is zero-tolerance for illegal or otherwise inappropriate usage of our network. Violators will have their membership revoked and will not receive a refund. Violations include, but are not limited to:
- Illegal streaming
- Illegal file-sharing (including bit torrent)
- Mining cryptocurrency
- Viewing or sharing sexually explicit materials
Cleanliness and maintenance
- Wash your dishes immediately after using them
- The garbage will be removed from the office once a week.
- Please do not store fresh food anywhere but the fridge marked with your name on it.
Food and drink
- Please keep odorous and hot foods to the shared seating areas and away from the desks
- Keep uncovered liquids away from electronics
- If you drop any food or crumbs, clean it up immediately in order to keep the space free of pests
- Communal snacks and beverages will replenish on a monthly basis, budget allowing
- You may bring snacks of your own, so long as they are single-serving-sized, or resealable between uses
- Refrain from any alcohol consumption during work hours
Events
- After 6pm, private groups can book the space for personal use at a rate of $40 per hour
- Individuals with the $200/month membership may have one complimentary evening free-use pass per month for their own private events
Respecting others in the space
- Meeting/call etiquette
- It is okay to take meetings and calls at your desk if you are not the main presenter
- If you are taking a meeting that requires you to present or speak at length, please move to either of the private meeting areas for the duration of your call
- If you expect to be in meetings all day that require significant periods of talking or presenting, please consider staying home
- Use noise-canceling headphones or earplugs if you need a quieter space
Dog policy
- At this time we cannot accommodate dogs in the space during working hours. If you have questions about this, please reach out to management
